David Jacobson was hired as Mountain West Investment Corporation’s Construction Manager in April 2015. David was born and raised in Arizona where he attended Arizona State University and ultimately received a BS degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. While in Arizona, David worked in the construction industry as a project manager for several years. In 2001 David decided to pursue a legal education and moved to Salem, Oregon to attend Willamette University College of Law where he graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree in 2004. After graduating David worked in the legal industry handling construction industry legal matters as well as debtor/creditor issues.
While academic and professional pursuits have been fulfilling for David, his greatest source of satisfaction is his faith and his family. Prior to his academic pursuits and before working in the construction industry, David served a two-year mission for his church in California’s bay area. Upon returning to Arizona, David met and married his sweetheart Kathy. David and Kathy live in Salem with their four children. David and Kathy are active in their church where they volunteer their services wherever needed.
David also believes in the importance of being actively involved in the community. In recent years David has served in the community in the following capacities: President of the West Salem High School Education Foundation; Executive Board of the Cascade Pacific Council of the Boy Scouts of America; member of the West Salem High School site council; and volunteer coach for West Salem Little League.
